Branch Sales Specialist – Brookings, SD Location

We are looking to add a Branch Sales Specialist – Brookings, SD Location to our team.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of the agricultural industry. The Branch Sales Specialist has a servant heart with a passion to take care of our customers with top-notch customer service either in-person or on the phone. They are detail-oriented and can juggle multiple tasks throughout the day. All Millborn Seeds teammates must have the ability to adapt to change and a commitment to growing the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Take care of customer needs by providing the top-notch Millborn Seeds customer experience
  • Manage incoming calls and direct them to the correct specialist or team member (take detailed messages as needed)
  • Collaborate with Retail Sales Lead to establish strategic plan and set targets
  • Arrive by 7:45 AM every day ready to greet customers
  • Drive sales through engagement of retail customers
  • Sell Millborn stock products to walk-in traffic
  • Process orders and payments and assist with customer pickups
  • Proactively prospect new retail sales
  • Possess excellent product knowledge to educate and increase sales
  • Ensure customer pickup process is efficient, leaving customers with an amazing experience

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Desire to serve people and maintain a positive attitude focusing on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to establish priorities and work independently toward overall objectives
  • Maintain a high attention to detail while managing multiple tasks
  • Ensure quality and timeliness are a top priority – desire for accuracy
  • Effective computer/IT skills – experience with Microsoft products, ERP systems
  • Handle pressure in a progressive, fast-paced environment
  • Position is located in our Brookings, SD office
