Inside Sales Specialist – Conservation

Founded in 1987, our roots run deep in agriculture, conservation, and restoration of native landscapes. At Millborn Seeds our team is dedicated to the specialty seed industry, providing education and quality seed products. We are looking to grow our team with a highly detailed, organized, and efficient Inside Sales Specialist with a focus on conservation opportunities. The ideal person is detail oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrive by 7:55 every day ready to assist customers via phone or in person
  • Sell products and coordinate details of each sale
  • Build relationships with conservation customers
  • Create quotes and follow through with customers to ensure timeline is in place for when to transfer to a sales order
  • Close out day, ensure all calls/emails have been responded to prior to leaving each day
  • Follow up on open orders and quotes to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Seek out industry knowledge to assist specialists
  • Assist in the promotion of multiple products
  • Support sales strategy through gathering of market research
  • Understand conservation practices and programs

Special Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Desire for accuracy and high level of urgency to ensure quality and timeliness are a top priority
  • Maintain a high attention to detail while managing multiple tasks
  • Ability to establish priorities and work independently
  • Efficient Computer Skills
