We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic representative to join our head office team in Calgary, Alberta. Reporting to and working alongside the National Account Manager, you will be primarily responsible for developing a new forage sales and support desk, focusing on our Union Forage forage product lineup along with our new-to-Canada Renovo Seed products.

The Forage Sales Specialists’ primary focus is selling products and being a go-to support for all things agronomy-related for dealers, customers, and prospective customers.

- Work directly with customers who call the head office to meet their order or agronomic needs, with a primary focus on annual and perennial forage products
- Provide customers with top notch service, agronomy support, and resources
- Enter orders into order entry system and answer customer questions about orders as needed
- Own blending order entry and paperwork process
- Collaborate with National Account Manager and the General Manager to establish strategic plan and set targets
- Seek industry knowledge to become a well-rounded leader in your field(s) of expertise
- Work with Renovo Seed/Union Forage sales team to develop and execute ideas and programs for all customers
- Call new prospects and existing customers to ensure their ongoing and evolving needs are being met
- Create a helpful and uplifting experience for the customer
- Attend trade shows, field days, customer visits, and meetings as designated to showcase Renovo Seed and Union Forage products
- Evaluate performance of Renovo Seed and Union Forage products during field visits with customers

Other Information
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS
- Work performed indoors includes an office environment, requiring the ability to sit or stand to operate standard office equipment, computers, and phones
- Occasional warehouse and outdoor work that will require lifting/carrying of up to 55lbs along with walking, bending, stooping and reaching
- Potential operation of equipment (grain bins, truck unloading equipment, mixers, forklifts)
- Moderate dust (PPE provided), moderate noise and exposure to heat and cold when outdoor work is required
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- A degree or diploma in Agriculture; previous experience in forage or demonstrated agriculture background
- Minimum 2-3 years in a sales agronomy or similar role preferred
- CCA or P.Ag. accreditation, or ability to obtain, preferred
