“I want to be the guide producers need when they want to make the best out of their land.” Colin said. “I love talking about different industry topics and finding different ways to connect with customers.”
Colin grew up in South Central South Dakota on a cow-calf operation and diverse cash crop rotation. He and his family have been practicing no-till farming for 25 years and using a cover crop for 15 of those years.
“I grew up understanding the need to conserve soil and keep organic matter,” Colin said. “I want to be relatable. I want our customers to be doing similar things as I am at home. Because of the success of no-till and cover crops on our operation, I want to help customers implement those same practices on their land.”
As a Sales Development team member, Colin’s main responsibility is to visit with new and existing customers about how Millborn can help them.
“I like understanding the background of your operation,” Colin said. “How can Millborn be a tool for you?”
With hopes to be diverse, Colin dipped his toes in many different avenues within agriculture. Colin graduated from South Dakota State University Agriculture Science with minors in Animal Science, Agronomy and Agriculture Business.
