In Sales Support, Courtnie spends most of her day answering questions about forage, cover crops and conservation.
“I love being in the field and directly helping producers,” Courtnie said. “Having my own farm and ranch, I feel I can be relatable and empathize with other producers.”
Originally from rural Nebraska, Courtnie had a passion for agriculture early on, and continues to live her passion day in and day out.
“I was looking for an agriculture company where I can be innovative and help producers be successful,” Courtnie said. “Millborn stood out as leaders in the agriculture industry. They are constantly thinking towards the future and truly want to better itself and their employees to successfully help producers meet their goals.”
Courtnie spent two years at North East Community College studying Agriculture Business and Agronomy, then transferring to South Dakota State University to finish her bachelor’s degree in Agronomy.
Outside the office, Courtnie and her husband Chris, own a cow-calf pair operation, custom calve heifers, backgrounding lot and farm/ranch. “I love spending time outside riding my horses and working with cattle on our ranch,” Courtnie said. “No matter how many hours I work each day, it never feels like work because I love what I do.”
