As our Commercial Product Manager, Jon works with commercial seeding and erosion control contractors to ensure they have the correct product to meet project needs and specifications.
Jon spends a lot of his time searching projects, putting together quotes and working with customers to help them win bids. Once contractors are on the project, Jon works with the them to get them the materials they need, so customers can focus on their work knowing that Jon will make sure they have the materials they need to keep working.
“I like to be part of something that will have a direct impact on people’s lives for many years,” Jon said. “This is why I earned a degree in Construction Management from South Dakota State University.”
Jon started with Millborn in 2017 after working many years in the construction industry.
“My education and work experience in construction lead me to Millborn,” Jon said. “Understanding bidding and contracts is helpful, and being able to understand the business side of construction and being able to relate to Contractors and the challenges they face brings added value to the sale.”
Jon feels that trust is what sets Millborn Seeds apart from our competition. “Customers trust that we will have their best interest in mind and won’t stop working until “it” is right. Every tool in our toolbox will be used to get our customers the products and information they need to keep working” Jon said the key to a successful project is teamwork, “I have a great working environment with great teammates and awesome customers.” Outside the office, you can find Jon cheering on his two boys in football or golfing, camping, hunting or fishing.
