“I like to think of Millborn Seeds as a one-stop-shop for farmers,” Kaitee said. “We cover a wide variety of products with a unique range of specialties.”
Kaitee started with Millborn Seeds in 2019 to continue living her passion, merchandising.
“I like how complex it is and how every day is different in purchasing and operations,” Kaitee said. “Grain markets are always changing and is a daily challenge to figure out why.”
Kaitee has a degree in Commodity Merchandising from Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, South Dakota.
“Growing up on a farm and ranch in Central South Dakota, I have always had a passion for conservation and land management,” Kaitee said. “My degree was specialized and allowed me to learn about investments in the agriculture markets. Economics excite me and I enjoy being able to figure out why prices are moving the way they are.”
Outside the office, Kaitee and her husband, Brandon, enjoy hunting, bow fishing and helping on her family’s farm and ranch.
