POSITION OVERVIEW- TEAM CHEF
We’re looking for an experienced energetic creative chef to fuel our team—literally. At our company, sharing a healthy, delicious lunch is a very important piece of our culture. We believe that sharing food fosters connection, collaboration, and creativity. By providing lunch, we create a space where teammates from different departments can gather, unwind, and build relationships beyond their work roles. Our Team Chef is the heart, and plays a vital role in shaping this experience through providing thoughtfully prepared meals that keep our people energized, focused, and ready to do great work.
This role blends creativity with consistency and practicality, while also understanding the purpose of every meal is to fuel the team well and get them back to work feeling great.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a fresh, healthy, high-quality lunch each weekday for approximately 40 team members (must be ready by 12:00 PM each day with some flexibility to earlier if needed)
- During peak season (spring & fall)- plan and coordinate evening shift meals and snack type items available to our customers to enhance their ordering and pickup experience
- Plan and manage a rotating monthly menu that’s nutritious, energizing, and budget-conscious and includes protein rich salads several times weekly
- Shop for groceries and manage food purchasing efficiently (we’re healthy, not wasteful)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen
- Handle food prep, cooking, serving, and cleanup daily
- Coordinate and communicate meal plans in advance to leadership team
- Gather and respond to leadership feedback to continually improve meals and experience
Special Requirements
- Proven experience cooking for large groups (40+ daily)
- Strong planning and time management skills—reliability is a must
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to balance creativity with consistency and cost-effectiveness
- Passion for healthy food and fueling high-performance teams
- Open to feedback and excited to be part of something bigger than just “making lunch”

Typically 9 AM – 3 PM, with occasional flexibility for seasonal or special meals.
