Birdsfoot Trefoil

Birdsfoot trefoil is a moderately long-lived perennial legume and generally used in areas receiving 20 inches of precipitation or more. It is used for erosion control along roadsides and as hay or pasture for livestock. Birdsfoot trefoil is a non-bloat legume for livestock, which makes it a desirable forage species for grazing livestock.
