POSITION OVERVIEW

The Customer Service & Inside Sales Specialist – Millborn Canada is a critical part of our Canadian support team, owning order management to deliver a strong, reliable customer experience to support overall growth. This role works directly with the sale team, retail customers, and dealers to ensure every interaction is handled with accuracy, urgency, and a high level of service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Location Manager, sales team members, dealers, and customers to support sales growth and maintain strong business relationships
  • Serve as the trusted first point of contact for walk-in customers and all inbound calls, providing product information, pricing, availability, order support, and maintaining exceptional customer service
  • Work within an order management system and e-commerce site to manage execution on all sales orders from order entry through fulfillment ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and customer satisfaction
  • Provide operational support to the sales team on back-end functions by coordinating product availability, providing order status updates, obtaining and communicating freight quotes and tracking shipments
  • Oversee Canada orders on daily basis responding promptly to customers’ and dealers’ inquiries and coordinating order-related activities
  • Act as a key liaison between supply chain, sales and manufacturing teams to anticipate production needs, identify potential supply or operational issues and address them promptly to enable its timely resolution
  • Report on customer concern, complaints and operational issues to the Location Manager and recommendations on appropriate response actions
  • During peak season (January through May), coordinate daily with warehouse manager to ensure production schedules align with customer demand and fulfillment timelines
  • Support seasonal procurement activities by monitoring inventory levels, identifying replenishment needs, issuing purchase orders, tracking estimated arrival dates.
  • Assist warehouse crew with seasonal and annual inventory counts
  • Work with an optimization mindset to improve daily processes and procedures
  • Support the management of the e-commerce site, Millborn Canada website by monitoring inventory availability and pricing accuracy and providing feedback to Marketing on adjustments as needed

Special Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working in or around agriculture preferred
  • Ability to learn and utilize internal order management system
  • Ability to react and respond quickly when problems arise, and have a problem-solver mindset
  • Able to work independently, make quick decisions, and clear workload without supervision
  • Thrive under pressure in a progressive, fast-paced environment

  • Willingness to work longer hours during peak seasons (spring and fall as needs arise) to service customers

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • GED/High School Diploma required
  • Post Secondary Education and/or adequate experience in Agricultural Sales, Agronomy, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Agricultural/Agronomy background a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS

This is a full-time position based at our Canada headquarters in Calgary, AB. Occasional travel may be required to support events, meetings, or dealer visits.
