Tall Wheatgrass

Tall wheatgrass is a tall, long-lived perennial adapted to a wide range of soil types and climates. It is highly saline tolerant and is often used to establish perennial grass in challenging soil conditions. Tall wheatgrass has poor forage quality, but is suitable for hay and pasture, erosion control along roadsides, and nesting cover for upland birds.
